The title for my final year project is “Rebranding Baree Bakee bakery packaging to structure packaging.” The main purpose of the project is to analyze structural packaging and its improvement in packaging aesthetics, as well as the influencing factors of structural packaging design in consumer purchasing behavior.
Baree Bakee is an online bakery store that mainly sells Japanese dessert, which is Daifuku. The reason I decided to rebrand Baree Bakee bakery packaging to structure packaging is to overcome Baree Bakee's current packaging problem statement, which includes poor quality packaging, plastic packaging and lack of protective packaging.
Nowadays, packaging is an important factor that may influence business performance. Packaging has attracted consumers’ attention to specific brands, enhanced their image, and influenced consumers’ perceptions of products. Packaging also gives products unique value. Compared with the current product packaging, a good structural design packaging obviously can bring many benefits to Baree Bakee.
One big box contains three small boxes. The concept comes from Japanese bento design.
Above are the top and front views of the packaging. The color of Packaging is determined by taste of Daifuku.
Different Japanese flowers are designed to represent every taste of Daifuku.
